State Triple Crown Award

At the May 2022 REALTORS® Legislative Meeting & Trade Expo, Washington REALTORS® was honored for winning the RPAC Triple Crown, an award that reflects attaining all five major goals outlined by NAR:

1. State’s National RPAC Fundraising Goal – 118% of our $515,000 goal

2. State’s Federal RPAC Disbursements Allocation – Surpassed our goal of $141,593

3. State’s Major Investor Goal – Goal was 220; Washington’s total was 267

4. State’s President’s Circle Goal – Goal was 22 members; Washington’s total was 38

5. State’s Participation Goal – Goal was 12%; Washington’s participation rate was 13%

It’s the first time for Washington REALTORS® to achieve the honor, and it reflects the commitment our members have to political advocacy. They understand that actions taken by the federal government, Washington Legislature, and local governments greatly influence the real estate industry and the everyday life of REALTORS®.

The “Triple Crown” honor is more than a gauge of money collected, it’s a reflection of the commitment WR’s members have made to advocate for their industry and make sure the real estate environment remains positive for buyers, sellers, and the REALTORS who serve them.

“Earning the Triple Crown is a pinnacle achievement for any REALTOR® organization, but for Washington, it’s an RPAC accomplishment without equal,” said Katharine Carey, ’21-‘22 RPAC Trustees Committee Chair, “From the individual efforts of our members and staff, planning and participating in countless local and state association PAC activities, you all deserve a huge pat-on-the-back for making Triple Crown status a reality for Washington state.”

Local Triple Crown Award

To obtain the Local Triple Crown Award, local associations must be utilizing the PAC Management System and meet the following criteria:

· Meet or exceed local’s share of their state’s National RPAC Fundraising Goal

· Meet or exceed local’s Participation criteria

In 2021, the following Washington REALTORS® local associations earned the Local Triple Crown Award:

Kitsap County Association of Realtors®

Lower Columbia Association of Realtors®

Mason County Assoc of Realtors®

Moses Lake Othello Board of Realtors®

Northeast Washington Association of Realtors®

Thurston County Realtors® Association

Tri City Association of Realtors®

Walla Walla Board of Realtors®

Whitman County Association of Realtors®
