State Director allocations are determined using a formula based on the NAR membership count as of July 31st (the “State Allocated Directors”) and may change as the number of members of NAR and/or WR change.

No, candidates for Small, Mid, & State Allocated Directors must also complete the WR Candidate Affirmation form for NAR Directors which allows candidates to select the all position type they seek.

The NAR Director Application will also allow state associations to see all forms submitted by members of that state, regardless of what position is selected on the form, and can select them for another position if desired. And local associations will see all submissions by members of that association. State associations and local associations will have the ability to choose the correct position for the member, even if it is different than the one selected. EXAMPLE: If a member selects "small association representative" and is not elected to that seat, the state association can still see and appoint that member to a state-allocated seat during the allocation period.
