DEI Education Testimonials
Fairhaven
I went into this class with minimal to no expectations. I’m being asked to take it…it’s an agenda item…so I’ll do it. I soon realized this class was making me aware of things I had never thought about. It was the classic “I don’t know what I don’t know”. My closed mind quickly opened up and I was excited to expand my horizons and my awareness. Take it!!!
-Ken Sax
I was shocked to find out how some of my answers revealed a bias that I would not have perceived myself as having. Taking Fairhaven was a real eye-opener and worth taking over and over again as you learn something new each time. Such a great tool to have at our fingertips to ensure we, as REALTORS®, are providing an equally amazing level of service to all of our clients.

Bias Override
I have taken this class twice and what a great class! There are so many implicit biases we are unaware of until they are brought to light. This was not a space to say you are doing something wrong but a safe space to come into with an open mind and heart to make our interactions with clients a better experience for all. It touches on cultural awareness and so many things I wasn’t aware of prior to. I left with multiple takeaways to remain conscious of and will likely take it a third time.

At Home With Diversity
I want my clients to know no matter our cultural differences, they can feel safe and comfortable within our working relationship. This class offered great insight into being mindful and sensitive to cultural differences and range of fair housing practices. Very worthwhile class and a certification that every REALTOR® should ensure they hold. Thank you WR for offering such valuable and relative education!

I recently had the opportunity to complete the At Home With Diversity course. I highly recommend the class for anyone looking to cultivate a deeper understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the realm of homeownership and real estate. The instructor expertly navigated through topics, offering both theoretical and practical strategies to promote diversity and combat discrimination in housing.
-Jamie Girvin
I enjoyed all three “the At Home with Diversity, the Fairhaven, and the Bias Override”, these were great learning opportunities. They gave me different prospectives and ways to improve myself. I learned how some same simple words said differently could affect one so much different than another. I learned the way I use the English language sometimes comes off different, so I need to slow down and use my words different at times. It made me aware of how innocent words can become not so good words. I enjoyed them and learned a lot. Thank you for providing education opportunities like this.
