Washington REALTORS® Announces New CEO: Nathan Gorton 

Following an extensive search, Washington REALTORS® is excited to announce Nathan Gorton as the new Chief Executive Officer. This announcement follows the retirement of Steve Francks who served the organization with distinction for 26 years.

Nathan Gorton, will bring 20 plus years of experience with the REALTOR® organization  to his new role as CEO starting September 18th. He has spent the last 13 years as the Government Affairs Director for Washington REALTORS®, demonstrating exceptional leadership and innovation in his tenure. Nathan is known as a big-picture thinker with a proven track record of results and a coalition builder who has consistently worked to enhance and promote REALTORS® and their objectives. 

As Government Affairs Director, Nathan managed the organization's largest departmental budget and staff, including oversight of the Political Action Committee (PAC), strategically allocating millions of dollars annually. His pioneering work in instituting a new regulatory system on PAC spending has resulted in zero Public Disclosure Commission violations during his tenure. Prior to his role as CEO, Nathan served as the Executive Officer of the Snohomish County Association of REALTORS, where he managed staff, financials, and executed the board's strategic plan effectively. 

Upon his appointment, Nathan expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I am beyond excited for this new opportunity to serve REALTORS® all across the State in a different capacity. With the support of our incredible team, I am dedicated to steering our organization toward continued success and innovation for our members. There's much work to be done, and I can't wait to get started!"

Alisha Harrison, President of Washington REALTORS® in 2023, remarked, "The selection process for our new CEO was exhaustive, reflecting our commitment to finding the most qualified candidate. Nathan's deep experience, proven leadership, and innovative spirit make him the perfect choice to lead our organization forward."
