Margo Wheeler Aspiring Leader Grant

The Margo Wheeler Aspiring Leader Grant ($2,500) recognizes Margo Wheeler’s extraordinary legacy of leadership development at the local, state and national levels of the REALTOR® Organization, as well as the Women’s Council of REALTORS®. The deadline for application is August 11th, at which point, the selection committee will review and select a nominee by September 1st. Grant Criteria

  1. The applicant must be an aspiring leader (desire to advance in leadership & embodies the REALTOR® Spirit).
  2. Applicant must submit a letter of recommendation from a local REALTOR® association or an affiliate/affinity group.
  3. Applicants must demonstrate REALTOR® involvement
  4. Applicants must describe how funds will be used (to attend leadership opportunities at WCR, NAR, or WR).
  5. After recipient uses the funds, recipient is expected to provide a testimony of how funds were used, and how recipient benefited from the grant.
  6. The recipient will be someone that demonstrates the traits and embodies the spirit of Margo Wheeler, including some or all the following:
    • Accepting
    • Compassionate
    • Caring
    • Demonstrates a love of the real estate industry.
    • Desire for Leadership
    • Mentorship 
    • Strength
    • Perseverance
    • REALTOR® Spirit
