Ombudsman Services

The ombudsman program is an optional, but highly recommended solution to resolution. Essentially, it’s an informal mediation. In some instances, it can address and solve minor complaints from the public. It can also solve inter-REALTOR® conflicts before they become serious problems.

The Role of Ombudsmen

The ombudsman acts as a neutral facilitator, focusing on communication and conciliation rather than making judgments or decisions. Their goal is not to determine ethical violations or financial entitlements but to prevent conflicts by addressing misunderstandings and disagreements early before they escalate into formal disputes or ethical concerns.
