DOL Website Gets a New Look

The Department of Licensing is launching their new dol.wa.gov site next week! You can expect the new home page to look different from the current one so take a few minutes to familiarize yourself after the launch. The DOL reports that they've made it easier to navigate to the services customers need most often when visiting the site, including business licensing. Not all pages have been included in the redesign launch but they plan to continue updating pages after the launch, as well as the transaction and fee forms.

Announcement from the Department of Licensing:

The new dol.wa.gov is coming next week!

In 2021, the state Legislature gave the Department of Licensing (DOL) funding to redesign dol.wa.gov. as part of our commitment to provide easy and equitable access to DOL services. We’re excited to share that the new dol.wa.gov is launching in one week, on Tuesday, June 20!

As a crucial and valued DOL partner, there are a couple of things to know about the new site:

  • The new front page will look different from the current one. We’ve made it easier to navigate to the services customers need most often when visiting our site: driver licenses/IDs, vehicle tabs, license plates, business licensing.
  • Not all pages have been included in the redesign launch. We plan to continue updating pages after we launch, as well as our transaction and fee forms.
  • If you have questions about the new site – either now or after launch – please email webproject@dol.wa.gov.
